A Des-Res is an environmentally friendly cage addition for improving living conditions by increasing the surface area to provide a refuge for nesting and to stimulate activity in laboratory housing, esp. improving the breeding performance of particularly sensitive and fragile strains of mice. It is clean and light to handle and can be disposed of easily. Also, they can be supplied GLP compliant, e.g. batch numbered and with a certificate of analysis.
